Lorraine
Berry - 'My work is primarily concerned with a sense
of time and place. The work is very diverse but usually contains
an element of optical illusion or some element that challenges
the viewer’s perception and visual awareness. Often
the pieces are very subtle, engaging the viewer through an
element of discovery'.

Louisa
Bannister - "In creating this piece I explored
a range of possibilities using what might be described as
new media. These included using the recorded sound of the
stream to create an electronic image which responded to, and
was created by, the nuances of sound. I also took a series
of digital photographs which I worked on to create a range
of computer generated images and drawings."

Anneka
Pettican - 'Chorus'
is site-specific.The work attempts to engage the viewer with
writing – with language in the making. Witnessing the
slow paced production of the layered text, the viewer is placed
in a situation of uncertain expectation. This results in an
unusual form of textual suspense.

Ben
Cook
- 'I attempt to make the viewer question perceived boundaries
and hierarchies between media, leading to definitions such
as ‘fine art’ and ‘craft’. I pose
questions, I don't try to answer them. The work is at times
serious and also humorous and sometimes confusing, in order
to stimulate thought and debate.'
